Pack light—you really don't need much! Bring favourite swimwear, a couple of elegant evening pieces, and high-factor suncream. Leave the shoes at home; barefoot luxury is the vibe here. Pro tip: have your camera ready for that seaplane transfer—the aerial views are incredible.

Rent a car and stay in a traditional trullo—it's the only way to explore properly. Locorotondo is my favourite day trip: peaceful, picture-perfect, with a fantastic pizzeria (you'll spot it by the queue!). Don't forget to plan slow poolside days at your trullo too—that's where the magic happens.

This picturesque fishing harbour is pure Italian magic – especially at golden hour when the traditional boats create perfect reflections in the calm water. It's my favourite spot for evening strolls and fresh seafood dinners.
